Ramadan Greetings from the Embassy of Lithuania on the Occasion of the Start of the Holy Month
With the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Arab Emirates extends its warmest greetings to the people of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Republic of Iraq, as well as to Muslims in Lithuania and around the world.
Ramadan is a sacred period of reflection, prayer, generosity, and community. It is a time that brings families and societies together and highlights the universal values of compassion, solidarity, and unity.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Ramūnas Davidonis, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Arab Emirates, stated: “As the Holy Month of Ramadan begins, I extend my sincere greetings to all who observe it in the United Arab Emirates, across the countries of the Gulf region, in Iraq, in Lithuania, and worldwide. May this blessed time bring peace to homes and hearts, strengthen bonds of compassion and solidarity, and inspire hope, understanding, and goodwill among all people.”
