Lithuania Extends Congratulations to the State of Kuwait on its National Day
The President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, has extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, and to the people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day.
In his message, President Nausėda expressed his sincere wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and well-being, and commended the steady advancement of relations between Lithuania and Kuwait. He reaffirmed Lithuania’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, expanding economic and business ties, and deepening dialogue in areas of mutual interest. The President also highlighted the importance of constructive cooperation at the international level and welcomed Kuwait’s successful Presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council in 2025.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, likewise conveyed his warm greetings to H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, underscoring the longstanding relationship between Lithuania and Kuwait founded on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to dialogue and international cooperation.
Joining these high-level congratulations, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Arab Emirates, accredited to the State of Kuwait, Ramūnas Davidonis, also conveyed his warm wishes to the leadership and people of Kuwait, noting Lithuania’s deep appreciation for the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
