Important notice! Changes regarding national visa applications
Following the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Status of Foreigners which enter into force from July 1, 2023 please be informed that applications for issuing national visas for the purpose of employment are accepted through the Lithuanian visa application centers in the UAE until June 16, 2023. Applications for issuing national visas for other purposes are accepted through the Lithuanian visa application centers until June 23, 2023. N.B.! From July 1, 2023 applications for national visas for all purposes will be accepted only through the external service provider outsourced by the Department of Migration under the Ministry of the Interior. Applications for the issuance of national visas when the purpose is employment in the Republic of Lithuania will be accepted by the Embassy only if they have been lodged via the Lithuanian Visa Application Centers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai until 15 of June, 2023.
Applications for the issuance of national visas for other purposes (e. g. study) will be accepted by the Embassy only if they have been lodged until 23 of June, 2023.
As of 1 July the Embassy will no longer accept applications for processing of nationl visas.
