Ambassador Ramūnas Davidonis met with the Ambassador of Iraq in UAE

Ambassador Ramūnas Davidonis met the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in the UAE, H.E. Dr. Mudhafar Mustfa Al-Jbori, on the 2nd of June 2022.

During the meeting it was agreed to enhance bilateral Iraqi-Lithuanian agenda in multiple fields, including digital affairs, fight against illegal immigration and economic cooperation. Also Lithuanian Ambassador informed about the Russian blockade of Ukrainian ports for grain exports, which might lead to food crisis in the MENA Region, and Lithuania's efforts to unite international community in solving this.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in the UAE is also representing Lithuania to the Republic of Iraq.
