Ambassador Davidonis remotely presented copies of credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain

On 14 December, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania Ramūnas Davidonis remotely presented copies of credentials to Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain.
During the meeting, Ambassador Davidonis discussed the most important questions of bilateral cooperation, possibilities of strengthening the ties in trade and security. Ambassador also extended greetings to the Minister for upcomming National day of Bahrain on 16 December.
Ambassador Davidonis is the second Lithuanian Ambassador accredited to Bahrain. On 15 September 1991, Bahrain recognised the re-established independent state of Lithuania, and on 3 July 1995, bilateral diplomatic relations were established.
