Ambassador Davidonis discussed strengthening bilateral economic ties with the UAE Minister of State Dr. Th. Al Zeyoudi
On 12 October, the Ambassador of Lithuania to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ramūnas Davidonis, met with the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation and the desire to strengthen business relations between the two countries in the fields of transport, information and security technologies, and food industry. "Lithuanian business has a great potential to seek mutual connections with the UAE. A direct flight between the two countries is a key step towards stronger economic cooperation," said Ambassador Davidonis.
Ambassador Davidonis also presented the potential of Lithuanian food products and the opportunities for cooperation between the UAE and Lithuanian seaports.
